DENVER -- Marvel’s Inhumans will air on Fridays this fall on Denver7, but you can see a version of the first two episodes of the new show during the next couple of weeks on IMAX screens in the metro area and across the nation.

The show explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the Inhuman Royal Family, including “Black Bolt,” the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.

Best of all, the Marvel’s Inhumans features Colorado’s own Eme Ikwuakor as “Gorgon.” Gorgon is the cousin of Black Bolt, a member of the Inhuman Royal family, and the leader of Attilan's military. With super strong legs, complete with hooves, Gorgon can generate destructive seismic waves with a single stomp, making him a force to be reckoned with among Inhumans. The yin to his cousin Karnak's yang, Gorgon would rather fight than talk to solve his problems.

A triplet born in Wheatridge from Nigerian parents, Ikwauakor's was attending the University of Colorado on a track and field scholarship when someone suggested the sports marketing major take an acting class. It was a life changing experience.

Ikwuakor has appeared in numerous television shows including ABC’s Castle, Outlaw, Love Bites, Victorious, The Comeback, and Hawaii Five-O. He was also featured in the Will Smith movie Concussion.

Marvel’s Inhumans premieres on Denver7 on Friday, September 29 at 7 p.m. before settling in to its regular Friday night timeslot at 8 p.m.
