Museum Day: 31 Colorado museums open their doors for free this Saturday, Sept. 22

DENVER – Art lovers, history buffs, true crime inquisitors and everyone else in between: This Saturday you’ll have to chance to get in to 31 Colorado museums for free as part of the 14th annual celebration of Museum Day.

Hosted by Smithsonian Magazine, Museum Day is a celebration of “boundless curiosity” that allows participating museums the chance to provide free admission to anyone that presents a Museum Day ticket.

This year’s theme is “Women Making History," recognizing female trailblazers in the arts, sciences, innovation & culture, Smithsonian Magazine states on its website
