DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017.

1. Flags at half-staff for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day 

Flags throughout Colorado will be lowered to half-staff in recognition of National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. President Donald Trump is expected to sign a proclamation. 

2. Colorado State Capitol Annex building closed through Monday

The Colorado State Capitol Annex building will be closed on Thursday and Friday due to a small fire in the housing of one of the building's primary HVAC units. The building houses the Colorado Department of Revenue. 

3. Looking for a job? Denver is hosting a career fair! 

The City of Denver will be hosting a career fair that will be free for job seekers. It's taking place at the Holiday Inn Cherry Creek. Please bring a resume and dress in traditional business or business casual attire. The fair begins at 11 a.m. 

4. Trees for Troops at Fort Carson 

Fort Carson Soldiers will receive 600 real Christmas trees to be distributed to military families as part of the Trees for Troops program. 

5. Light snow possible Thursday for the plains

Temperatures will remain cold on Thursday with highs in the 20s to low 30s in the mountains and upper 30s to near 40 degrees for the eastern plains.
