PUEBLO, Colo. – The Pueblo Zoo welcomed two new bison calves, Sid and Ginger, to its exhibit.

The 2-month-old calves come from a herd being raised at Colorado State University. They were shipped to the zoo after the calves’ mother rejected them, according to KRDO.

Sid and Ginger will be nursed and cared for by staff until they are old enough to interact with the other bison at the zoo.
